How to Apply to the SRAIS Program

*The global cohort of the SRAIS project brings together teams and experts from several countries. To ensure the uniformity and effectiveness of activities, mentoring as well as all activities conducted by experts and mentors will take place exclusively in English. By applying, you confirm that if your application is selected, mentoring will be provided in English, the application form will be completed in English, and only applications submitted in English will be evaluated and potentially accepted. It should be noted that the development of specific cohorts with local partners could make it possible to offer mentoring solely in French or in other languages in the future.

To apply, you will be asked to provide the following information in the above-linked Application Form:

  • Project Title (20 words)
  • Application domain (20 words)
  • Headquarters’ address
  • Country name
  • Team composition & affiliation of the team (company, org, etc) (50 words)

  • Confirmation of the ability to conduct a demo of the AI solution at the start of the mentorship

  • Description of the solution (500 words), including:
    • Problem definition (what is this solution trying to solve?)
    • Expected impact if the problem is solved and metrics of success
    • How AI is used in the project
    • Type of data used in the project
    • Whether it is open source or proprietary
  • Funding sources and conditions of funding

  • Timeline & deliverables

  • Data Collection and management strategy

  • AI strategy

  • Data protection and ethical privacy assessment

  • AI Responsibility assessment: Whether it has been conducted, or is planned, or is not planned

  • Link to project web page

  • Challenges on scalability (150 words)

  • Challenges on responsible development & adoption (150 words)

  • Other challenges hindering the progress of the project (150 words)
