Introducing the SRAIS Mentorship Global Track: A Call for Applications

The SRAIS mentorship program offers a unique opportunity to connect with the international responsible AI community. The program is currently open for any team from any location to apply, providing a platform to operationalize responsible AI principles and scale AI products with the guidance of international experts.

We are evaluating and accepting applications on a rolling basis. As space is limited, we encourage you to apply promptly to secure a spot in the next mentorship cohort. All teams will be notified of the decision after review. Selected applicants will then be contacted for further discussions, with engagement beginning in Q1 2026.

Is the SRAIS program for me?

Understanding the profound meaning and challenges of responsible AI and responsible scaling in a specific context is not an easy task. Planning properly to ensure that a responsible AI solution can also scale responsibly, often despite uncertainty, is even more difficult. This is where support and guidance from recognized experts offers invaluable advantages.

The SRAIS mentorship program is designed for teams who:

  • Have already developed an AI solution (minimum development level is a demonstration or pilot);
  • Are committed to responsible AI scaling;
  • Dare to challenge their assumptions, their thinking, and who are open to evolving or changing their approach;
  • Have the capacity to put in the required amount of time and work between the mentorship sessions;

After an evaluation of all applications received, selected teams will benefit from working with expert mentors over a period of 6 months between November 2025 and April 2026. Expert mentors will provide advice and guidance on how to address the team’s specific challenges in achieving responsibility and scalability of their project.

At the end of the mentorship, the progress of teams will be evaluated and participants will receive recommendations for possible next steps. Teams who successfully complete the process in full will be recognized as SRAIS RAI Changemakers.

Based on the information provided in the application, we will select teams according to a three-level priority framework:

Priority 1

Responsible AI (RAI) Solutions that face challenges with scaling.

Priority 2

AI Solutions that have demonstrated potential for scaling but need to validate the responsible attributes of their solution, and want to become
a RAI solution.

Priority 3

AI solutions that face challenges on both fronts (responsibility and scalability).

What will I receive?

If selected:

During a period of 6 months (January 2026 – June 2026), mentors will help participating teams identify the challenges they face relative to responsible AI and responsible scaling of their AI solutions. Evary team will be matched with a team of up to three mentors who pocess expertise in the relevant fields for their projects. The teams will receive regular advice from GPAI experts and invited specialists on the objectives and milestones for addressing those projects.

At the end of the 6 months, you will receive:

If not selected:

Teams that apply but that are not selected will receive feedback about the decision taken.

If selected, what is expected of me?

We expect the following commitments from the selected teams throughout the project:

To ensure the success of all participating teams, consistent effort and engagement are essential. Teams who are unable to meet the required level of commitment may be removed from the program at the organiser’s discretion.
